Great stay, comfy vibes!
We had a spacious double room that was super clean with good tea & coffee makers. The breakfast was fantastic, and the staff were super friendly! It was also close to some nice bars and restaurants, which was a plus. But we found the beer selection kinda lacking this time, which was a bummer.

It was just a great match for a rapid stop in Sedgefield with high value for money. The complimentary earplugs were a lifesaver due to the noise from the bar below. Be aware of potential noise if your room is near the pub area.

had a great stay! the room was compact but really thoughtfully furnished, giving it a boutique hotel vibe. the staff were super friendly and helpful. had dinner in the restaurant, and omg the food was honestly excellent. would totally recommend this place to others!
but the wifi was practically non existent which made it hard to do any work. also, the shower pressure was really poor, which was such a bummer.

Unexpected noise but great food
The breakfast was truly delicious, featuring local ingredients and a variety of options. The room was beautifully decorated, making our stay feel extra special.
We faced annoyingly loud noises from the bar late into the night, which disrupted our sleep. the shower pressure was disappointingly low, making it frustrating to get ready.

Charming stay with exceptional breakfast
I had a delightful time at this charming hotel. The room was beautifully decorated and very comfortable. I particularly loved the breakfast featuring locally sourced ingredients – the scrambled eggs were simply the best! It's located right in the heart of the village, making it easy to explore. I found that the WiFi could use improvement for those needing to work.

Couple looking for a cozy getaway
The rooms were pristine, beautifully decorated and spacious which made our stay feel really special. We also enjoyed a lovely evening meal, the food was spectacular and the service faultless, more than what I expected out of a place like this.
It wasn't cheap, but ya know, for the quality it was still acceptable.

We had a lovely night in the cozy Deluxe Double Room and enjoyed the delicious breakfast too, even if it took a while to arrive. There were nice relaxation areas like the garden patio and a small lounge where we could unwind. The only hiccup was that the bathroom could've been a bit bigger, but it didn't ruin our stay! 😊

Charming historical character is evident throughout the building, with unique, thoughtfully furnished accommodations. The extensive breakfast menu genuinely surprised us, offering local flavors that catered to various tastes.
Our room had noticeable noise issues, especially being located above the bar. we received earplugs, but even with them, the late-night clamor disrupted our sleep. The bed arrangement was perplexing—while we paid for a luxury King room, we ended up with a double bed, which made for an uncomfortable night. the water pressure in the shower was frustratingly low, often oscillating between barely warm and too cold, which put a damper on our morning routines. The layout of the bathroom was also disappointing. the sink size was impractical, making it inconvenient for evening washing. While cleanliness was apparent in the rooms, the hallway leading to them felt lackluster and dim, giving the impression of neglect.
